  Women all over the world will win if France bans the burqa said a Muslim feminist commentator.
  There has been a debate going on in France for over a year about banning the Islamic veil the burqa from public places. The burqa is the full head and body covering unlike the Hijab which does not cover the whole body.
If you were in a Buddhist country would you wear pumps in a temple? Off course not you would take them off as you are a guest in that country and should abide by the country rules. If successful it is evident that other countries will follow with the ban.
